build.
The first tool was born from a problem I lived every day: the isolation of freelancing. Since then I have come back to my original trade, carbon measurement, with AI as leverage. My tools make visible what software emits, from a large company's IT estate down to my own Claude Code sessions.

From consultant
to solobuilder_
After a few years in consulting, I went freelance. Not a grand plan - more of a desire to pick my own topics and pace.
I went to work a few months from Colombia. The remote life works great; alone in front of a screen, much less. I came back with an idea.
It started as a few coffees with local freelancers. Three years later, 500+ members, ten cities, and a mission-driven company. The first product that stuck.
Ten years of carbon. Now AI as leverage. In 2026 I bring them together: Carbonara becomes licensed software, TokenClimate measures the cost and CO₂ of AI itself. The other products keep running; this is where most of my time goes.

Once a month, I write what I learn building these products: the numbers, the tools, what doesn't work, what I'd change. Raw, hopefully useful.
A problem
to solve ?
AI labs now send their engineers to set up shop at their clients' and wire AI into the field. I do that work as an independent, with my own tools: Carbonara for IT carbon, TokenClimate for the cost and CO₂ of AI. The deployment is scoped and documented. A first system in production in under 30 days.
